Lexile was developed by MetaMetrics, an education company in United States.
We adopted and implemented the Lexile Test through a formal agreement with MetaMetrics.
Students learning English through ELiF can check their reading levels and monitor their progress using the test.

We provides two kinds of Lexile Tests: Type A and Type B.

The Type A test measures reading level, and the result is officially recognized as the Lexile Reading Level.
The difficulty of the Type B test is based upon the results of the type A test taken by students. Type B is a cloze test that assesses the student’s reading level.
